Our Home

In November 2007 we bought a new house and moved. About three blocks away :-) We could not resist the view from the place and from here we can see the Johannesburg city skyline as well as the whole valley. The house is old and there is a lot to do, but we are taking it one step at the time.

At the moment we are busy fixing up the guest bedroom upstairs. When we first moved in (end of last year) pretty much the whole house was painted pink and purple. Even the tiles in the main bathroom was painted over with pink and purple…. oh my..

RENOVATION

Guest bedroom July 2008
So first out is the guest bedroom. Below here are some “before pictures” of the room and staircase and hopefully we will have some nice “after pics” in a couple of weeks time.

Main Bathroom (Dec 2007-July 2008)

We started with the bathroom last year but came to an halt when we fired the workers. Below are some before pictures from when the previous owners were still living here.
